Broward Center Welcomes Teen Ambassadors

FORT LAUDERDALE – The Broward Center for the Performing Arts has welcomed 24 students from 18 local high schools and a home schooling program into the 2015-16 class of the Broward Center Teen Ambassador Program.

“More than 100 students have participated in the Teen Ambassador program since its inception in 2010 and we have heard from many who stay in touch and tell us that the experience has helped them in college as well as made them more well-rounded individuals,” said Broward Center President and CEO Kelley Shanley.

Teen Ambassadors participate in educational workshops with touring artists, write reviews, share their experiences on social media and see live performances in every genre.  Teen Ambassadors earn community service hours for their participation.
