Spirits of Stranahan House to Haunt South Florida October 30, 31 and November 1

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Join the Historic Stranahan House Museum this weekend for a Halloween experience like no other! The annual Spirits of Stranahan House Halloween Tours take place Oct. 25, 30, 31 and Nov. 1, with tours beginning at 7:30 pm.

The evening tour guided by authentic Victorian Mourners, tour guides in historic period dress, will entertain guests with tales of spirits and legends unique to Fort Lauderdale. Throughout the house, guests can try out dowsing rods, handheld tools used in the centuries-old practice of locating those who may still roam the earth after death.

Guests may take photos during their tour, but shouldn’t be surprised if they capture the unexplainable! Additionally, the Grave Keeper, the Stranahan House’s personal crypt caretaker and prolific storyteller, will tell tales of countless other haunted sites throughout South Florida. Before the night is out, you may even come across the spirit of Frank Stranahan himself!

Experience an unusual history-inspired Halloween excursion at the founding point of the city of Fort Lauderdale. The Spirits of Stranahan House Halloween Tour is ideal for satisfying one’s morbid curiosity and celebrating the spirit of October.
