The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale Presents the Front Porch Project, a Month-long Photography Exhibit by Michael Murphy Chronicling South Florida Life During the Covid-19 Quarantine

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale, recognized as Broward County’s premier shopping destination, will present The Front Porch Project, a new month-long photography portrait exhibit by Michael Murphy chronicling South Florida life during the COVID-19 quarantine. The walk-through retrospective will open on Tuesday, June 9, at 11 a.m. in the space across from Altar’d State, next to Swarovski.

City of Fort Lauderdale Declares Local State of Emergency and Issues Curfew

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. -- The City of Fort Lauderdale has issued an Emergency Order declaring a local state of emergency and putting a curfew in place following civil unrest in the aftermath of protests which took place earlier today.  The curfew began this evening (Sunday, May 31, 2020) and will be in effect nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. for the next three days unless modified by a new emergency order.
