Seeking Temporary Employment as Office Cat

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL -- Do you have a pet friendly office who is seeking a new temporary employee? The Humane Society of Broward County is seeking local businesses to hire (foster) felines to fill the position of “Office Cat” until a permanent position (adoption) can be secured.

The HSBC will match your business with an adoptable cat that will interact well with your employees, customers and office environment.  The shelter will also provide food, litter, toys and identification.  You provide the job coaching (care).

Your office cat will remain on the HSBC website along with all the other adoptable animals.  You are asked to also promote the feline by sharing on your social media pages, through email communications, on your website and with your clients and customers.  The goal is find permanent, loving homes for shelter cats.

Before leaving the shelter, your Office Cat will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, de-wormed, treated for fleas and ticks, vaccinated, and tested for Feline Leukemia. The adoption fee is $25 (payable to the Humane Society of Broward County when a permanent home is found) and includes a limited 10 day follow-up care at participating VCA Animal Hospitals (restrictions apply, up to $250).
