DCOTA to Host Special Design Events & Luxury Product Launches During Prestigious MAISON & OBJECT AMERICAS May 12-15

Charles S. Cohen, President/Owner of DCOTA, today announced that the Design Center of the Americas will be hosting a number of special design events, cocktail receptions, showroom visits and product introductions during MAISON & OBJECT AMERICAS 2015.
The prestigious international design tradeshow at the Miami Beach Convention Center (May 12-15, 2015) will have 250 exclusive exhibitors focused on two sectors:
+ Interior Design will gather the important names in decoration and design, offering a curated range of products to suit all development and contract projects.
+ Home Decoration will focus on offering an equally curated selection of trendsetting decorative furniture, lighting and accessories.
As one of the world's largest design/office campuses with more than 60 exquisite showrooms of extraordinary interior design products perfect for any upscale home, yacht or commercial project, DCOTA will welcome MAISON & OBJECT attendees at a series of special events. In fact, three buses will be running to and from DCOTA and the Miami Beach Convention Center throughout the 4-day show.

ADRIANA HOYOS presents her latest collection, BOLERO
The origin of the Bolero is connected to each and every piece of the collection, which was created after the designer’s journey to Seville, Spain. The collection highlights the primary use of metal, exotic leathers and woods; and the development of unique hardware. The warm, cheerful and romantic spirit of the Bolero is embodied in the conception and design of the pieces, while the style and modern look is achieved with the mixture of finishes and materials.

New introductions to the textile range as well as special values in the Ammon Hickson Showroom sampling for Nancy Corzine.
Andrew Martin (Suite C-126)
Offering a wide range of fabrics, wallpapers, furniture and home accessories inspired by a unique mix of cultures, nostalgia and decades, Andrew Martin International is a the go-to place for tastemakers in search of individual interiors with a twist. Their 2015 collection is like no other, offering a range of soft dark leather pieces, cement board side tables and coffee tables.

Inspired by the clean, bold geometry of Art Deco, Lakeshore offers 17 pieces that make a statement with crisp symmetry and artfully tapered lines. Sutherland Garden Décor, handcrafted primarily by Belgian artisans, offers over 30 garden accessories using zinc and terracotta materials that elevate the garden into an art form. Innovations (Suite C-470)
To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Innovations is reaching far back into the archive to bring back timeless wall coverings from their early years Finding inspiration from the interiors of train cars in Japan, their design team created a group of vinyl wall coverings durable enough to withstand just about anything—even the test of time. These wall coverings represent the firm’s history and remain current to this very day.
** Mesa springs to life with embossed squares that are irresistibly touchable and bring an undeniable sense of fun to the walls. Mesa’s design evokes the topography of a geographic landscape, sprawling with plateaus and valleys.
